Studded belts produced between the 1930s and 1950s. These are now rare items, with only a few dozen appearing on the market each year.
In 1994, after going independent, owner ZIP STEVENSON traveled across the US on a buying trip and discovered studded belts, which he felt were the best match for denim.
However, he couldn't acquire enough in terms of size, quantity, or condition to meet customer demand.
So, he began to work with the tools and jewelry used at the time. After one year, he created a belt that met his standards, with a handmade feel that made you forget the 70 years that had passed. This was the beginning of ZIP and the belt.
Five years later, in 2000, HOLLYWOOD TRADING COMPANY (HTC) became a beloved belt brand worldwide, as it is today.
