This is a 1940s U.S. NAVY salvage parka.

This smock parka was used for handling dangerous goods, salvaging stranded ships, and rescue operations. Since it was discarded after a single use, there are not many of these rare items available. It has a drawstring, so you can change its shape when wearing it.

The size is L, allowing for a relaxed fit. There are some rust stains in places, but no damage, and overall it is in good condition.

Considering the scarcity of existing items and its history, this piece is sure to be even more highly regarded in the future.
