This is a transitional model from just after the switch from BIG E to small e, and is highly regarded as one of the most perfectly crafted vintage denim jeans.

This original piece features details unique to the early 66 single stitch, such as the top button stamped "6", red ear selvedge, single-stitched back pockets, paper patch (without guarantee ticket), and small e tab.

The color retention is excellent, and the deep indigo with natural vertical fading creates a beautiful look.
The fabric still has a substantial ounce feel, and is in a condition that will allow for further enjoyable aging.
