[Product Description]
A black dyed 1960s USNAVY deck crew shirt.
The deck workers who perform various tasks on the US aircraft carrier are called the Rainbow Gang because of their colorful appearance. The original color scheme is seven: purple, blue, green, yellow, red, brown, and white, but this is a unique item in which the yellow is dyed black.
The design is a pullover type with a stand-up collar, Velcro closure at the neck, and ribbed sleeves.
Deck crew shirts have been used by the US Navy since the 1960s, but they have been improved to use a cut-and-sew-like fabric, and the glossy texture of this fabric is a feature unique to the 1960s.
By dyeing it black, the long length has been shortened and the all-black finish makes it easy to coordinate with any style.
This is a piece that can be worn as an inner or on its own to be the focal point of your outfit.
