This is an original ovenware from "Sears," a representative department store brand in America from the 1950s to 1960s.

The exterior is avocado green, typical of the era, and the interior is made of white milk glass (opal glass). It is an item that combines excellent heat resistance with the beautiful color palette characteristic of mid-century design.

The bottom is engraved with "Sears 2 1/2 QT OVENWARE MADE IN U.S.A." The capacity is approximately 2.5 quarts, making it ideal for gratins, stews, soups, baked dishes, and more. With handles on both sides, it can be smoothly transferred from the oven to the table.

This heat-resistant glass was made by a store brand as a special order around the same time as Fire-King and Pyrex. In recent years, its high aesthetic appeal has made it popular for display purposes.
