【Description of item】
~1940s indigo wool cabaret.

Originally used as a bed cover, it is now also used as a rug.
It is still not very familiar in Japan, but it is a textile called cabaret that is woven on a loom.

The colour scheme on the front and back is reversed so you can enjoy both sides, making it known as "winter & summer", and you can change the impression by using colour schemes that suit the season.
The presence of this antique fabric, with its texture and feel, can only be achieved by having been woven over a long period of time and cherished for generations, and just incorporating one piece will give the space a unique atmosphere.
