1940s Free Land cotton twill coverall.
This piece is based on the rugged construction typical of workwear of the time, and was overdyed later.

The fabric is not denim, but a high-density cotton twill reminiscent of the 1940s.
The tough, twilled material, which softens with wear and is accented by the uneven texture characteristic of overdyeing, creates a unique look.
The front has four buttons.
The buttons are original engraved buttons, a detail that really captures the era. The pocket placement and stitching balance are also practical, reminiscent of 1940s workwear.

Including the overall uneven color, fade, small paint spots, scratches, and repair marks,
