[Product description]
A 40s-50s Japanese souvenir jacket
A sukajan (souvenir jacket) from the 1940s-50s with no padding, featuring special embroidery on both sides.
Side A depicts a striking scene of an eagle clutching a continent designed to resemble the American flag. The front features embroidered tigers and dragons, creating a magnificent design that blends Japanese and American motifs.
Side B features a dynamic full-body dragon, complemented by two eagles on the front, also creating an impactful design.
Both sides feature "OKINAWA" embroidered in two colors, indicating a custom-made, one-of-a-kind piece.
This is a rare and popular vintage sukajan without padding, making it suitable for wear year-round. While some damage is visible, it is in good condition for a sukajan of its age and retains its original charm.
The size is approximately M. With a short length and ample sleeve length, it's a piece that can be worn by a wide range of people. This is a special sukajan, truly one of a kind.
