[Product Description]
A large vintage Navajo rug from Tew Gray Hills, handmade in the USA in the 1930s.
Two Grey Hills is a town in the eastern part of the Navajo Reservation, and Navajo rugs woven there are made with a combination of the natural wool colors of the sheep bred there, such as white, black, gray, and brown. This gives them a calm, natural, and gentle impression. Two Grey Hills rugs have long been considered the highest quality and most expensive textiles among the Navajo.
Among them, this is a very rare large rug with a thunderbolt pattern. The pattern is very impactful, but the calm color scheme makes it match well with any interior. It is in very good condition for a rug of this age.
