Vintage Navajo rug from the 1930s.
A vintage Navajo rug, carefully hand woven, one piece at a time.

Navajo rugs are made over a long period of time, beginning with raising sheep and grazing them, then spinning the wool, dyeing it, weaving it, and so on.They are world-famous traditional crafts, thanks in part to the beautiful designs that are woven into them.

Although it is damaged, the faded red color of the plant dye creates an excellent atmosphere.
