【Product Description】
This extremely rare Anarchy in the U.K. version print T-shirt is based on a rare 1990s deadstock Fruit of the Loom body and was hand-printed in the UK by Chris “Snoop” “Bang” Townshend, a founding member of the legendary anarcho-punk group The Exploited.
Motivated by the artwork of the Sex Pistols' shocking debut single "ANARCHY IN THE U.K.", a bold large-scale print is applied across the entire front using a valuable original 1970s edition. The torn EMI Records logo, the words "no fun", and the familiar cut-and-paste band logo and title are expressed on an overwhelming scale, as if the pamphlets and posters of the time were simply stretched out in a collage.
Because it is a craftsman's hand-print, the ink fading and the texture of the print are different for each piece, creating a one-of-a-kind finish. Going beyond the boundaries of mere clothing, it is a special collector's item imbued with supreme artistry and value, allowing you to feel the raw energy of the masterpiece that marked the beginning of London punk history.
