【Product Description】
This extremely rare Anarchy in the U.K. version print T-shirt features a Fruit of the Loom body, a rare 1990s deadstock item, and was hand-printed in the UK by Chris Townshend, a founding member of the legendary anarcho-punk band Crass.
Motivated by the artwork of the Sex Pistols' shocking debut single "ANARCHY IN THE U.K.", a large-scale print is boldly applied across the entire front using a valuable original 1970s edition. The torn-off EMI Records logo, the words "no fun", and the familiar cut-and-paste band logo and title are expressed on an overwhelming scale, as if a collage of pamphlets and posters from that time had been stretched out.
Because it is a hand-printed piece by an artisan, the ink fading and the texture of the print differ from one to another, creating a one-of-a-kind finish. Going beyond the boundaries of mere clothing, it is a special collector's item imbued with supreme artistry and value, allowing you to feel the raw energy of the masterpiece that marked the beginning of London punk history.
