Reverse Weave, synonymous with sweatshirts, is a traditional Champion manufacturing method that uses the body fabric in a horizontal direction to reduce vertical shrinkage of the sweatshirt, and further improves ease of movement by incorporating ribs on both sides to accommodate horizontal shrinkage.
