[Product description]

An 80s U.S. ARMY M-65 fishtail parka.
Used by the U.S. military from the late 1960s, it was officially adopted in 1965, and its original official name when developed was "PARKA, MAN'S, M-65". In the 1970s, it came to be referred to as "PARKA, EXTREME COLD WEATHER".

This piece features a cotton-nylon shell, characteristic of early models.
Unlike later models, the rugged fabric texture that develops a beautiful patina over time is its appeal.

This is an early model from an 83 contract, equipped with a SCOVILL zipper.
Its well-balanced design, including the slanted front pockets and chest pocket, is also a distinctive feature.

Although there are repair marks on the hem, this condition can be positively interpreted as an authentic military aesthetic.
There are no issues with wear, and you can enjoy further aging with this piece.

Another attractive feature is its expandability, allowing it to be worn even in mid-winter by attaching a liner.

In recent years, it has gained high status in fashion, with various brands sampling it.
Its value continues to rise year by year, and deadstock examples are extremely rare.

*There are repair marks on the hem.

*Please understand that this is a vintage item and check the images before purchasing.
