This chore coat with an integrated hood from the 1960s retains many early Carhartt details.
It features the so-called "Big C button" with a large "C" engraved in an oval frame, an original printed tag, thick cotton duck fabric, and a wool-blend blanket lining, all rugged specifications typical of workwear from that era.

The design can be considered the prototype for current chore coats and active jackets, showcasing craftsmanship from a time when durability and practicality were prioritized over mass production efficiency.
The faded brown duck fabric, stains, scuffs, and repair marks resulting from real work are all highly commendable points, adding to the powerful aging unique to this piece.
