[Product Description]
Denim coveralls produced during the 1940s, during World War II.
This is a garment that shows the simplification that was only possible under material control, and details that are designed to be as practical as possible.
The biggest feature is the collar chop design.
The collar, which was originally full-colored, has been cut and replaced with a simple stand-up collar, a modification typical of workwear of the time, and is a detail that strongly retains a realistic feel of the workplace.
The front features four laurel buttons, a symbol of the WWII era, and the engravings and aging look are in excellent condition.
Double stitching on main parts.
It has the ruggedness of workwear, but the natural vertical fading and fade that comes with wear gives it a very atmospheric look.
The pocket balance and silhouette are reminiscent of the 1940s, and despite being a coverall, it doesn't look unfashionable, which is another attractive feature.
This is a piece that has the authenticity that only a genuine vintage item can have, something that cannot be achieved through retrofitting or repair.
Even among WWII coveralls, which are becoming more and more popular every year and are steadily decreasing in number, those with a complete collar chop, laurel wreath, and four buttons are rare.
