A traditional hand-woven jacket with roots in Chimayo, New Mexico.

This is a Chimayo-woven piece from the same lineage as ORTEGA'S, but this one is from the "EL GRANDEE" distribution line.
The "Fred Harvey" notation allows us to glimpse the tourism and distribution context of the time.

The back features a classic center diamond pattern.
The white base with red x black x turquoise coloring is classic yet creates a striking finish.

Made of thick hand-woven wool fabric, this jacket is suitable for wearing or as a display piece.

Jacket styles are rarer than vests. A powerful art piece characteristic of Chimayo.
