Studded belts produced between the 1930s and 1950s are now rare items, with only dozens appearing on the market annually.
In 1994, after becoming independent, owner ZIP STEVENSON traveled across America to source studded belts, the perfect match for denim.
However, he couldn't acquire enough to meet customer demands in terms of size, quantity, or condition.
So, using tools and jewelry from that era, he began crafting them. After one year, he created a handmade belt that met his standards, evoking a sense of timelessness, as if 70 years had passed. This marked the beginning of ZIP and the belts.
Five years later, in 2000, HOLLYWOOD TRADING COMPANY (HTC) became a beloved belt brand worldwide, as it is today.
