Studded belts produced between the 1930s and 1950s. These are now rare items, with only dozens appearing on the market each year.
In 1994, after going independent, owner ZIP STEVENSON encountered studded belts, the perfect match for denim, through his buying trips across the US.
However, he couldn't acquire enough to meet customer demands in terms of size, quantity, or condition.
So, using tools and jewelry from that era, he began crafting them. After one year, he perfected a belt that met his standards, with a handmade feel that makes one forget 70 years of history. This was the beginning of ZIP and the belt.
Five years later, in 2000, HOLLYWOOD TRADING COMPANY (HTC) became a beloved belt brand worldwide, as it remains today.
