Studded belts produced between the 1930s and 1950s. These are rare items, with only a few dozen entering the market each year now.
In 1994, after going independent, owner ZIP STEVENSON traveled across the US buying what he considered to be the best belt for denim – a studded belt.
However, the size, quantity, and condition of these belts were not enough to meet customer demand.
So, using the tools and jewelry from that era, he spent a year creating a handmade belt that met his approval, making it feel as if 70 years had passed. This was the beginning of ZIP and the belt.
Five years later, in 2000, HOLLYWOOD TRADING COMPANY (HTC) became a beloved belt brand worldwide, and it remains so today.
