Studded belts produced between the 1930s and 1950s are now rare items, with only a few dozen appearing on the market each year.
In 1994, after going independent, owner ZIP STEVENSON discovered the perfect studded belt to match denim through his buying trips across the United States.
However, he couldn't acquire enough in terms of size, quantity, or condition to meet customer demand.
So, using tools and jewelry from that era as inspiration, he started crafting. After one year, he created a handmade belt that met his standards, evoking a sense of craftsmanship that transcended 70 years. This marked the beginning of ZIP and the belt.
Five years later, in 2000, HOLLYWOOD TRADING COMPANY (HTC) became a beloved belt brand worldwide, and it remains so today.
