HTC
Studded belts were produced from the 1930s to the 1950s. Today, they are rare items, with only a few dozen appearing on the market annually.
In 1994, after going independent, owner ZIP STEVENSON traveled across America buying belts, and discovered studded belts that perfectly complemented denim.
However, he couldn't acquire enough of them to meet customer demand in terms of size, quantity, or condition.
So, he began handcrafting them based on tools and jewelry from that era. After a year, he created a belt that he was satisfied with, a handmade piece that made you forget 70 years had passed. This was the beginning of ZIP and the belts.
Five years later, in 2000, HOLLYWOOD TRADING COMPANY (HTC) became a beloved belt brand worldwide, as it is today.
HTC prides itself on being one of the few MADE IN USA / Made in Los Angeles, CA. brands across America, and continues to maintain its unchanging handmade quality.
