A vintage New Era "PRO MODEL" National League (NL) umpire cap from the late 1960s to early 1970s.
This is a professional-grade item actually worn by Major League Baseball umpires at the time.

The inner tag reads "Since 1920 / DuPont Visor / Weatherized / Pre-Shrunk / Perspiration Proof / PRO MODEL".
The visor uses a hard material made by DuPont, making it resistant to losing its shape, rain, and sweat, boasting top-class functionality at the time.

The "NL" on the front is the official league initial for the National League.
