40s Made in USA U.S. ARMY M-43 HBT Cargo Pants.

The M-43 HBT trousers were developed as versatile utility pants that could also be used as combat uniforms, improving upon the weaknesses of the P-41.

This particular pair features 13-star buttons, which are seen in early to mid-production models. It's a rare piece with details that predate simplification. Furthermore, the gas flap, which is often missing, remains in excellent condition.

The high-positioned cargo pockets are designed to not impede walking or movement, a military-specific design intended for practical use. Despite its rugged appearance, this is a pair of cargo pants with a particularly beautiful silhouette.
