The original tassel loafer, first created by Alden in 1948.
This iconic, signature model features an elegant, slim Aberdeen last and boasts a clean, sophisticated silhouette. Crafted from premium black shell cordovan leather by Chicago-based Horween, it develops the bold, beautiful wrinkles and deep luster characteristic of cordovan leather the more it is worn.
This is a factory defect (rejected) item, indicated by the "FD" prefix in the model number. It fell short of standard quality control due to minor color variations, tiny scratches, or slight stitching misalignments occurring during production. However, it is perfectly functional and offers an excellent opportunity to enjoy Alden's highest quality and exceptional comfort at a great value.
