Early 1950s vintage Lee overalls.

A rare piece featuring details unique to this era, such as a simplified house tag and buttons with a **long L and straight "e". It features a transitional design from the diagonal "e" seen through the 1940s to the straight "e", with the "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF." notation at the bottom, retaining the characteristics from before the switch to the later ® mark.

The back features a shield back and house tag, a valuable early 50s specification from before the back tag transitioned to a square tag. The pinstripe fabric retains a workwear feel while giving a refreshing and elegant impression.

Hand-sewn repair marks remain on the side seams, and the atmosphere unique to real, well-worn workwear is also appealing. Combining details that confirm its era with the dignity of a one-of-a-kind piece, this is also recommended as a collector's item.
