【Description】

Rare vintage overalls featuring numerous details unique to the World War II era. This impressive piece includes laurel leaf buttons, double-stitched inseams, wartime wear, and simplified triangular pockets—all iconic specifications of the war era.

During the war, the production of branded buttons was restricted due to rationing, leading to the use of laurel leaf and donut buttons. Front pockets were also changed to simple triangular designs to conserve materials, with the pockets lined with surplus HBT, flannel, and military fabric. Furthermore, the triple stitching that normally provided strength to workwear was simplified to double stitching to reduce the consumption of needles and thread.

It is almost miraculous that a piece featuring all these wartime details has survived to the present day, making it exceptionally rare. The rugged, raw atmosphere created by stripping away functionality—a look not found on standard models—is a special appeal unique to wartime models.

The size proportions are well-balanced, creating a silhouette that is easy for Japanese people to wear. Combining historical significance with a strong vintage presence, this is a special piece recommended for both collections and practical wear.
