【Product Description】
A POWR HOUSE denim work apron made in the USA around the 1960s.
POWR HOUSE was one of the private brands developed by Montgomery Ward, one of America's leading mail-order and department stores.
The tag also bears the words "SOLD EXCLUSIVELY BY MONTGOMERY WARD," indicating that it was sold through Montgomery Ward at the time.
It has the appearance of old workwear, luxuriously made with dark navy indigo denim.
At the chest, there is a double-layered pocket with a brand tag, and another independent pocket is placed below it. Red thread bar tacking at the pocket openings provides a nice accent against the deep indigo.
It features metal eyelets at the neck and both sides, and comes with an unbleached cotton strap. Precisely because it has a simple structure made as a practical item, the texture of the denim itself and the workwear-like details stand out.
And above all, the condition is particularly attractive.
Although some dirt, small scratches, and what appears to be paint residue can be seen, it retains its indigo color very well for a vintage work apron, and is a piece that will allow you to enjoy even more aging changes as you continue to use it.
Compared to jackets and painter pants, original denim aprons from old American workwear brands are not very common in circulation.
Whether actually used in a shop or garage, or hung on a wall as a display, it is a piece with a strong presence.
POWR HOUSE's red tag and red bar tacking, dark navy denim.
A vintage item that encapsulates the essence of American workwear.
