This is a vintage art panel titled "Lucid Lines" by Virgil Thrasher, made in the United States in the 1970s.

It features a shadow box construction combining a "reverse glass" technique, with tree silhouettes painted on the back of the glass and framed in black, and a wood-grain, warm-toned gradient background panel behind it.

The warm gradient resembling a setting sun (moon) and sunset sky, layered with the silhouettes of trees, creates a highly atmospheric and fantastical landscape.

The back still retains the original "Lucid Lines" work catalog label and hanging hardware from that era. It is perfect for mid-century or vintage interior coordination, as well as for home or store displays.
