[Product Description]
An original coin bank produced as official advertising for the American family restaurant chain "Big Boy" in the 1970s.
The bottom is engraved with "A PRODUCT OF BIG BOY RESTAURANTS OF AMERICA © Marriott Corp. 1973,"
making this a genuine original piece from the era when Marriott Corporation operated Big Boy.
It features the trademark pompadour hair and red and white checkered overalls.
Details characteristic of advertising figures of the time remain, such as the "BIG BOY" logo on the chest, the crossed suspenders on the back, and the coin slit on the back of the head.
The rounded form typical of the 70s and the unique expression that cannot be replicated by modern reproductions make this a must-have for American vintage enthusiasts and advertising memorabilia collectors.
It also makes for a striking display item for shops or rooms.
