【Description of item】
This is a US Navy sailor shirt from around WWII in the 1940s.

An item worn by the US Navy for soldiers and workers at sea.

Stenciled on the inside of the back and under the hem. Navy colored dense melton wool.

There is a pocket on the left chest and a pocket with an inner flap on the inside of the right chest. The side zipper is a U-shaped V TALON fastener.

The slim silhouette with a shaped waist makes this a great piece for slim men and women.
