COATZ is a brand based in LA. Designer Anne started COATZ when she was working as an artist, painting and printmaking, and made clothes for herself using vintage fabrics, utilizing the sewing skills she learned on her own as a student.
She says, "I'm not interested in being a fashion designer." She is an artist first and foremost, and making clothes is an extension of her artistic endeavors.
We don't release regular collections, but only make what we can when we find good fabric.

This is a one-of-a-kind jacket made from vintage African indigo fabric. It is a brand that is rarely available in Japan, so it is quite rare to come across this brand.
